Web Design
I learned web design and development at Fairleigh Dickinson University, followed by web design bootcamps in Boston. I have created websites by hand-coding with HTML and CSS since 1999. In 2008 I began using WordPress. I have been building responsive websites for years either using coding and Bootstrap or WordPress. I work regularly in HTML5, CSS3, WordPress, Beaver Builder, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Audition, Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office. I am currently learning to use Sketch.
I was trained by programmers, both in trainings and on-the-job. As such, I am very comfortable working in code, and/or refining WordPress sites using HTML and CSS. Throughout my career I have learned new programs on the job and am an agile adopter of new technology.
I am accustomed to interviewing website clients to find out what they are looking for in a site, designing a prototype on a dev server, and working with the client and/or programmers to make adjustments. I have also trained clients on the use of their WordPress websites.
I am experienced building wireframes to clarify page flow and reviewing them with clients. I am also experienced in writing SEO for YOAST.

Websites worked on in 2020
Below are links to websites I have worked on as part of a team for two different clients during 2020. These links are functional as the sites are current. In addition, I designed my own website that you are currently on using Beaver Builder in WordPress.
Websites worked on between prior to 2020
This gallery of images shows several of the websites I designed and produced from start-to-finish, the rest were responsive redesigns. Many have changed or been converted to WordPress over the years, so while I have provided the links in the captions for reference, not all of them will work now.
