My art is about connection. It is my obsession and my therapy. No matter the subject or medium, my work is characterized by layers of narrative. Even when doing portraiture — or perhaps especially then, I'm straining to reach the depths of the human soul.
Portraiture
I am an avid oil painter and specialize in portraits of people and pets. I paint portraits on commission and have created numerous posthumous portraits of our fallen military heroes—both human and canine—as a donated remembrance to their family members.
