I'm excited to share my interview with Art business coach, Laura C. George.

Laura talks about the important intangibles to consider when pricing your artwork, and the upside of "stealing;" how to use emulating another artist to find your own style.

She also talks about the importance of making sure you match how you live your art with your personality. Not all of us will be happy making our art as a business; for some people, that creates a misalignment.

We talk about the importance of healthy boundaries when doing commission work and much more!

The interview ran over an hour, so I've broken it into two episodes for listening convenience. Part II is available now at passionatepainterpodcast.com/episode66

Laura C. George, Art Business Coach on pricing, confidence, and boundaries

L aura C. George is a business consultant who liberates and energizes artists who feel stuck, arming them with the knowledge they need to create a career that supports them emotionally and financially.

With over ten years' experience in the online art realm, Laura knows the most effective strategies for a successful art business. Her expert advice has been featured across the web and her adoring fans have called her ”a godsend” and "the answer to years of frustration."

When she's not dishing out words of wisdom for art businesses, she plays mom to a sweet toddler, indulges her sweet tooth with all things toffee, curls up against her black lab with a good book.

Part 2 is excellent. I like her focus on the artist producing what is important to him/her and the client will follow. Artists who sell their work seem to have a following of those people it resonates with.
